While it might have been nerve-wracking for a section of the Cowboys Nation, they will be thanking their lucky stars for their talents. How good was Micah Parsons for the Dallas Cowboys last season?
The Cowboys selected Parsons with their 12th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2021 NFL Draft. There were no huge expectations for the former Penn State linebacker entering his rookie year in the NFL. But he had an unprecedented breakthrough season in the NFL and set a Cowboys franchise record of 13 sacks with 3 forced fumbles.
His performances and strong belief in being the best in his position led him to capture the 2022 Butkus Award. An honor that is given to the best linebacker in the league became the cherry on top of his first Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections.
Despite all his accolades, Parsons was upset about not playing in the Super Bowl.
