Detroit Lions to feature in Hard Knocks season 18
Of all the 32 teams, the NFL Films production was left with just three available options: Lions, Jets, or Panthers. The NFL and HBO finally chose the Lions since it was the most entertaining out of the three, mostly because of the head coach Dan Campbell. Campbell is known to make inciting speeches with uncanny quotes on ‘biting kneecaps’.

“We are excited about the opportunity to showcase the City of Detroit and the amazing culture we are building at the Lions,” said Detroit Lions president and CEO Rod Wood. “HBO Sports and NFL Films are the best of the best and we know they will be excellent partners in sharing our story with football fans around the world.”
The season will have five episodes and is scheduled to debut on the 9th of August, but the fans already feel disappointed with it. They seem least interested in knowing about a team that finished with a 3-13-1 record the previous season and struggles throughout the campaign.
