The 2020 NFL offseason has been a tough one for all teams. However, one particular team has undergone tremendous change in just a matter of months. That is Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots. The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach lost his star quarterback Tom Brady earlier this year. Brady decided to end his 20-year association with the Pats in favor of a new challenge in Tampa Bay.

The coronavirus pandemic contributed to some of the Patriots’ other struggles. As per Boston.com, eight players opted-out of the 2020 NFL season due to personal concerns. Tight end Matt LaCosse, Wide receiver Marqise Lee: Lee, Running back Brandon Bolden, Safety Patrick Chung, Linebacker Dont’a Hightower, Offensive tackle Marcus Cannon, Guard Najee Toran, and Fullback Dan Vitale will not be on the roster this year.

Despite all this uncertainty, young wide receiver N’Keal Harry is looking forward to the upcoming season with a sense of hope.

N’Keal Harry spoke optimistically while talking about the upcoming 2020 NFL season in an interview with Mass Live.

He said, “I would use excitement more than pressure. I’m really looking forward to getting out there and doing my part to help the team. I just want to do everything I can and I want to play to the standards I know I can play at. To me, it’s more excitement than anything.”

Harry was one of the top prospects, not just in New England but the entire league in 2019. However, he suffered an injury in training camp which ultimately hampered his rookie season. He was subjected to just seven appearances last season. The 2019 first-round pick showed glimpses of his talent when playing for Tom Brady’s Patriots. The question is, can he do the same with Cam Newton or Jarrett Stidham calling the shots?
