Months After Splitting Ties With Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady Opens Up on Eliminating ‘Jealousy’

Tom Brady the GOAT recently revealed how incredible a player Peyton Manning was. The two living legends of the NFL fraternity- one of the greatest pair of rivals during their NFL tenure- Brady and Manning dictated the quarterback landscape for many more generations to come. It’s tough to pick one amongst the two. But Brady eased out of the way by hailing the on-field charm Manning possessed. 

Brady and the Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen ended their 13 years of marriage earlier in 2023. However, in the next year itself, Brady bid farewell to his illustrious 23 years of NFL career. Shedding light on his NFL tenure, Brady disclosed how he used to sail through envy and jealousy where the constant comparisons were a thing.

Tom Brady’s podcast “Let’s Go” which he hosts alongside, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, contains an in-depth analysis of the NFL games straight from the experts’ lenses. In the S3 E3, Brady was asked about how he would keep it classy, where in today’s day and age it’s so easy to be jealous of someone while having respect for them.

Answering stunningly, Brady shared, “If I performed well, it meant nothing against anyone else.” In the following context, Brady addressed his on-field rivalry with Peyton Manning by stating, “I never wanted to be better than Peyton Manning. I just wanted to be the best I could be. Peyton Manning was unbelievable.”

Evidently, the GOAT Tom Brady and Peyton Manning’s on-field charm was incomparable. Where Manning and Brady have two and seven Super Bowl championships to their name. However, it was Brady’s too much inclination toward the NFL, that was speculated to be the reason for his divorce with Bündchen.

Brady and Bündchen announced their divorce in October 2022, where the couple shared two children Benjamin (13) and Vivian (10). The news of their divorce shook the entire entertainment and sporting landscape. However, the former quarterback’s inclination toward the league, where he devoted most of his time to the league, is speculated to be one of the major reasons behind their divorce. 

As the couple had successfully navigated their split. Both Bündchen and Brady were spotted spending time with their kids. Brady spent his 46th birthday with her daughter Vivian, taking a trip to the wilderness of Africa. Moreover, Gisele’s reign over the fashion industry continues where she rakes in promising achievements. Nonetheless, the NFL 2023 NFL season has begun, and it’s for the first time in 23 years that Brady will not be seen at the Gridiron, but his long-lasting impact on the league continues to shine and serves as a testament to his remarkable NFL career.
