Miami Dolphins met with a series of unfortunate events last year, including their star QB’s tragic injury while facing the Bills. Tua Tagovailoa was thrown onto the ground by the opponents and immediately showed signs of concussion. When he tried to get up and huddle, he twice lurched and struggled to stay on his feet. He was immediately carted off the field, leading to numerous speculation about the team’s future. Even the QB himself considered walking away from the league, amidst health concerns.
However, as time passed, the team decided to extend Tua’s contract only a few months ago. Therefore, it’s safe to say that he’s set to unleash his full potential and make a resounding comeback. Moreover, the NFL star now has a wealth of good things to express for the same team that almost replaced him with the football GOAT, Tom Brady.

As if the concussion against the Bills wasn’t enough, Tua met with yet another while facing the Packers on Christmas Day, mere months after the first one. Sometimes later, the NFL star was carted off while facing the Bengals, following a ruthless tackle by Josh Tupou. Following these incidents, there was no shortage of rumors about the QB’s exit.
Also, the concussion diagnosis only added fuel to the fire. However, Tua remains on the roster, with a huge extension that goes through the 2024 season. He has also been training in Martial Arts in the offseason, trying to improve his balance. So, it’s no wonder why Tua was this confident.

With respect to their roster, the Dolphins are looking really good for the season. However, it was the team at the top of everyone’s list for TB12 a few months ago that could have ended his $375 million dollar broadcasting deal with FOX.
What exactly happened between Brady and the Dolphins?
Although Brady is no longer with the league, it wasn’t his first retirement plan. A year prior to the last, the football GOAT announced his retirement, soon to be followed by the decade-long deal with the media giant, FOX. Brady decided to stay with the league for another year, further delaying the deal. And then came the official retirement, soon prompting speculation about his return once more to none other than the Dolphins.

It certainly could have been a whole story for the Dolphins if Brady actually came back for the team. Not only the FOX deal but also Tua’s position would cease to exist. However, that’s not how the story unfolded, with Tua as a starter, whether it was intended or not.
