In a Twitter post shared by Dov Kleiman, an NFL reporter, he shares behind-the-scenes situations concerning Will Levis. Dov, in his tweet, said “#Titans rookie QB Will Levis had a “tough” day of practice this week at team OTA’s. Levis reportedly struggled with inaccurate passes, made bad decisions by throwing to double coverage, and dropped a snap from the Center. But Levis said that he won’t “beat himself up” over it.”

Will was tipped to be an early pick in the 2023 draft, but to his surprise, he wasn’t picked until the second day of the draft, falling way short of the pre-draft predictions. This saw him earn a range of backlash from the fans as they were furious with his performance.

“He’s gonna own cry about it,” said one fan in response to the tweet.

“and people laughed at the colts for selecting Richardson,” added another fan.

Motivation is not beating yourself up

In the same Twitter post, Dov shares Will’s statement on his tough day. “High standards is the name of the game. It’s not to beat yourself up. It’s to motivate you to go out there and perform to the best of your ability,” says Will as tweeted by Dov, originally shared by Turron Davenport. His approach may invite comments and snares, but it is something important in the current environment.

Will is in his rookie year and has not played a single game in the NFL for any franchise. It is relatively obvious for him to be intimidated by the platform. His approach towards self-improvement and motivation will see fans and other players take note and laud him for his attempt to change the tune.
