The legendary FB’s wife, Monique Brown, took to social media to share the news of the sudden demise of her husband. In the post she shared on Instagram, she wrote that Jim Brown “passed peacefully” at their LA home. Soon after the post, many fans took to the comment section to express their sorrow over the demise of the NFL legend.
A few hours after posting the devastating news, Monique Brown shared an Instagram story. The story contains a picture of the couple, and she wrote, “Thank you for all the texts and phone calls. We are also seeing all the public posts and honors. This all means so much to my family and I. Please be patient in my response.” As the family battles the grief of losing their beloved family member, Mrs. Brown has requested people to be patient for her to get back to all of them.

The Life of Jim Brown
In the NFL, Brown dazzled as one of the most enigmatic running backs to play in the league. He was the NFL MVP in 1965, as he shattered various league records during his short playing career. He also led the Cleveland Browns to the NFL championship in 1964, before retiring from the game in his prime. Post his footballing career, Brown ventured into the world of Hollywood. As an actor, he appeared in more than 30 films. Including Any Given Sunday and The Dirty Dozen. He also became a notable figure in the Black Power Movement during the civil rights movement of the 60s. Brown then dedicated the latter half of his life to curbing gang violence in Los Angeles.
