Home/NFL

The realm of the NFL is deeply entwined with the world of music. With pop divas like Rihanna and Beyonce taking over the halftime at Super Bowls to Taylor Swift sending the whole stadium into a frenzy with one cheer, NFL grounds have seen it all. Amidst this, the sensation rapper Yella Beezy shared his favorites on his appearance in ‘Undisputed.’

Yella Beezy is a true definition of a football fan at the core. Despite his hectic career as a musician and lyricist, Beezy takes out time for his favorite team. The rapper is often spotted paying visits to his favorite teams practicing on the ground.

However, as much of a rapper as he is, Beezy is still a football fan at his core. Speaking of his favorites from the charts with Skip Bayless, the rapper started another debate among the fans. Leading Beezy’s personal leaderboard are the 6-1 Philadelphia Eagles. “Right now, I gotta give it to the Eagles,” said Beezy. The 5-2 San Francisco 49ers follow them, whereas the 4-2 Cowboys take up the third spot on his favorites chart. However, the list seems strange coming from Beezy, as the rapper is a Dallas native. So, instead of keeping his home team at position 3 instead of 1, he chose the Eagles.

Beezy’s choice speaks volumes about his interest in the NFL, as the rapper also gave an explanation on why he chose the Eagles first and not the Cowboys. The rapper mentioned that the team is playing great, yet they have made some mistakes that can’t be overlooked. Hence, despite the Cowboys being his home team, the team is not performing as well as compared to the Niners and the Eagles from the NFC division.

Various social media personalities have praised the Cowboys’ performance in recent days. Especially the Cowboys’ owners, who, despite the criticism, have stood beside their QB Dak Prescott.

The once-star QB might be struggling a bit now to convince the fans. Yet he is at his career-best 69.5 completion percentage this season. Alongside this, the QB has also excelled in rushing and receiving yards. Even though Beezy has already handpicked his favorites, the Cowboys wield the power to change their statistics any moment, making the season one of the best comebacks in the league.
