Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs have started where they left off in 2019. The reigning Super Bowl champions are currently on a four-game winning streak. They sit atop the AFC West Division table with an 8-1 record. Their sole loss this season came at the hands of Derek Carr-led Las Vegas Raiders.

Franchise quarterback Patrick Mahomes is firing on all cylinders. The 2018 NFL MVP has thrown for 2,600+ yards with 25 passing touchdowns from nine games. Another standout performer for the Chiefs is wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

On 44 receptions, Hill has 650 receiving yards and nine receiving TDs to his name. Together with TE Travis Kelce, this attacking trio continues to terrorize defenses across the league.

Kyle Brandt likens Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill to legend Mike Tyson

Kyle Brandt made some interesting comparisons on the latest episode of Good Morning Football. Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce labeled teammates, Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill, as the ‘best combo in the NFL’. Brandt took that comment one step further by comparing the deadly duo with dynamic boxing legend, Mike Tyson.

“I’m going to ‘check’ on this. I’m going to say that Mahomes and Hill are the deadliest combo in the NFL and I’ll tell you why. There are some other great ones and I’ve hyped (Davante) Adams and (Aaron) Rodgers a million times for their chemistry.”

“Just go to 1989, there might have been other better boxers, there might have been better pugilists who moved better….we all know damn well that there was one guy you didn’t want to face and his name was Mike.”

“And I think if you ask every defensive coordinator in the league ‘who do you not want to face tomorrow morning in the game?I think it’s these guys (Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill)…they might not have the best chemistry or the most polished attack but they are the most terrifying. I think they’re the Mike Tyson of the NFL,” Brandt said on the show.
