The 2020 NFL season has turned out to be a living nightmare for Dallas Cowboys and Head Coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys have just 2 wins from 9 games this season, despite starting the season as outside favorites to make the Playoffs.
A nasty season-ending injury to the franchise quarterback, Dak Prescott, in Week 5 was the beginning of the end for the Cowboys. They have failed to win a single game since Prescott was put on the injury reserve list.

Former Indianapolis Colts kicker Pat McAfee gave his rather blunt opinion with respect to Jerry Jones’ handling of the whole Dak Prescott contract situation in Dallas.
“So Dak is making a lot of money but that long term wealth hasn’t been figured out between Jerry and Dak. Jerry comes out says Dak’s quarterback for the future.
“That means he’s gonna have to pay him with the salary cap going down. How the f**k is he gonna pay Dak while paying everybody else.
“And what’s the future the Dallas Cowboys? It has Dak Prescott, we just learned but when everything else around it, how will they be able to figure out nobody knows, which is awesome that the national televised game every single weekend that involves Dallas Cowboys will continue to be a reality show for years to come.

“Congrats to America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys,” McAfee said on the show.
Prescott is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to his compound ankle fracture. With Andy Dalton being regarded as a below-par starter and the failure of the ‘Ben DiNucci experiment’, coach McCarthy has limited options at his disposal.
