When someone with his status is frustrated with the Lamar Jackson situation, that’s when you know something is wrong. The ‘White Chicks’-famed actor took to Twitter to express his frustration about the situation, calling it “unfair and racist.

Wayans’ tweet highlighted the reluctance of the Ravens to offer Jackson the maximum contract.

When referring to Jackson’s agency situation, Wayans definitely brought up a good point. Many have criticized Lamar for his decision to be advised and represented in contract negotiations by his mother. But in a similar vein, nearly 40 years ago, a similar legend used the exact same tactic. None other than the NBA GOAT Michael Jordan himself.

The GOAT earned his Nike contract deal while being represented by his own mother. The deal was the largest and first ever of its kind. While Jackson has been facing criticism for his decision, it certainly feels unfair to call him out, while MJ is often praised for his choice. The NFL is definitely notorious for being a cut-throat business. But for Jackson, it certainly feels like he picked the wrong side of the stick.
