The Dallas Cowboys got absolutely decimated by the 49ers in the playoff game. They were kicked out of Super Bowl contention, and it seems like Dallas fans are not happy. While trash talk is natural in football, it rarely continues off the field. However, in the case of Micah Parsons and Deebo Samuel, this was normal.

Parsons has already garnered some hate from the NFL fans during the Cowboys’ short-lived playoff dream. It seems like he himself is giving the fans fuel for the fire. Parsons recently commented on Deebo Samuel’s latest Instagram post. It continued the trash talk that might have started on the field. However, fans did not take this well.

Fans did not hold back as they took to Twitter to showcase their anger with Parsons. One fan mentioned that Parsons needs to stay quiet after the loss.

Furthermore, a fan questioned Parsons on his contributions to the team.

Fans also sarcastically mentioned Parsons’ stats.

However, some fans agreed with what Parsons had commented on Samuel’s post.

However, a majority of the fans were adamant that Parsons and the Cowboys are going to keep losing.

Finally, fans decided to showcase stats in comparison to seemingly put Parsons in his place.

It seems like Parsons’ comments on Samuel’s post backfired on him. No matter what he was trying to achieve, Parsons’ comments didn’t float well in front of fans. Furthermore, the linebacker’s contribution on the field was not very outstanding. Therefore, riling up the fans even more.

Parsons’ stats against the 49ers are alarming, here’s why

While he talks about a big game, Parsons certainly does not seem like he plays one. The linebacker’s stat line against the 49ers was nothing to write home about. Parsons had 1 tackle, 3 assists, and absolutely no sacks on the field against San Francisco. It seems like Parsons was harping on over very mediocre stats.

It seems like against the 49ers, Parsons was just all talk. He did not have a very significant contribution to the defense of the game, or even the outcome of the game. Cowboys’ fans can only hope that when the next season comes around, Parsons has some actual actions to back his words.
