Micah Parsons is the poster boy of optimism, after Russell Wilson of course. The Cowboys linebacker stirred conversation online after his recent tweet managed to both amuse and enrage the football world.
Not only did the linebacker make a very bold prediction, but he also managed to take a dig at Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill. So, what did he say?

The league’s official Twitter handle inquired if a rematch between Parsons and Hill should be held this year. Last year, the duo raced against each other at a Pro Bowl skills challenge. The Cowboys’ defensive star replied, “Sorry ima be in Bowl but in [sic] confident [Tyreek Hill] will hold it down for me in my absence!” The Cowboys are yet to head into their first playoff game but Parsons has already envisioned himself holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Parsons also implied that the Miami Dolphins may not be in the Super Bowl since Tyreek was going to hold the fort at the Pro Bowl. The linebacker seems firm in his stance of missing the Pro Bowl challenges because he will be playing in the Super Bowl.
Fans can’t help but mock Parsons
The NFL world couldn’t help but join the banter. Fans flocked to give their thoughts. While Cowboys fans will be pleased with Parsons’ optimism, not everyone was impressed. This fan did not hold back from saying

Both teams have their work cut out for them. The Dallas Cowboys will take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers first. The Bucs have been lingering around mediocrity all season. But that doesn’t mean that it won’t be a tough matchup. Going up against Brady can result in the least expected outcome- as history would show. On the other hand, Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins may be even more burdened while stepping into the postseason. Without QB Tua Tagovailoa to shepherd them against the dominant Buffalo Bills, the road ahead will be an uphill climb.
