Athletes have quirky ways of celebrating on the field. Micah Parsons does the thing that lets us know why he is known as the “Lion” in the NFL. He started doing something in his practice session started as a joke, but Dak Prescott told Parsons to step it up a notch and do it in the games as well. Now Parsons is seeking advice from the fans to name his latest move.

Apparently, Micah Parsons has his own way of celebrating the sacks, and it’s wild, just like his nickname. People have come out to appreciate it so much that Parsons might even pay them for naming his celebrations move. What started out as a joke might become something iconic, starting this season. In Jon Machota’s recent tweet, he shared a short snippet of Micah Parsons sacking Zach Wilson of the New York Jets and then celebrating the sack by crawling toward the crowd, apparently like a lion. He mentioned how he was in a practice camp with the Cowboys’ QB and started growling at him, to which Prescott replied, “you should really do that”, and Parsons just thought of trying it out.

He will soon make it official to the world, but something is stopping him. The thing is, he hasn’t named this move yet. And what’s interesting about it is, he wants the fans’ input to name the celebratory move. He is willing to go as far as to offer 1% of what he makes to the one who comes up with the best name for his concoction. Joke or not, 1% of Miach Parson’s salary sounds like a dream to most people.

Who knows if he will show us the ‘crawl’ in the next game against the Arizona Cardinals?

Gearing up for the heat

Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys will be going against the Arizona Cardinals in their next game happening on the Cardinals’ home turf in the State Farm Stadium Glendale. The notable thing about this is the fact that Dak Prescott will be going head-to-head against the Cardinals’ QB Joshua Dobbs. Statistically, Dak Prescott is superior to Dobbs. Also combined with the abilities of the Micah Parsons, the duo might just be unstoppable.

What is interesting to note is that the Cardinals haven’t won a single game in the regular season, whereas the Cowboys haven’t lost a single game when it came to their regular season at all. The Cowboys currently lead with 2 wins. The most expensive franchise in history can’t be taken down that easily as we saw in the match against the Jets and the New York Giants.
