Dak Prescott failed to get the Dallas Cowboys through the Wild Card Round as they were outperformed by the San Francisco 49ers. Moreover, the game-ending controversy added a cherry on top for the Niners as Dak was denied to play the last snap. And just like that, the Cowboys called it a season.

Dak Prescott, during his post-game press conference, supported the Cowboys fans for throwing trash onto the referees. Although, that was something inexcusable for the quarterback to do. But when it comes to his leadership skills, rookie Micah Parsons is all praises for him.

Micah Parsons on the leadership of Dak Prescott

Parsons called Dak a great leader and was very appreciative of the quarterback. Even though many of his passes did not connect in the playoffs game, they saw a terribly slow game at the start. The rookie does not question his abilities. In fact, he admired the steps taken by him to be as inclusive as possible.

“He even came into locker room and said,” Micah said of Dak. “‘Everybody let’s throw $500 in, cause the practice squad don’t get the same check (for the playoffs).’ You know that’s the type of person Dak is, he leads on and off the field. It’s the little things with him. I don’t think I’d rather have anybody leading me besides Dak. Dak is like a big brother to me, he took me under his wing early on.”

It was certainly a very heartfelt gesture pulled off by the quarterback for his fellow teammates in the practice squad. It just shows how great of a personality he is. And his love and respect for his peers are immense. Just the true traits of a leader.
