Although Micah Parsons happens to be one of the best players for the Cowboys this season, it doesn’t imply that Jerry Jones will nod to all his suggestions. Especially if it is about changing the uniforms. The second-year linebacker wants the Cowboys uniform all-black, introducing a complete revamp to the old nostalgic outfit.
The Cowboys own one of the most iconic uniforms in all of football. So far, several teams have improvised their designs and added more colors to their jerseys. However, the Jerry Jones-led team never ever made such an attempt and thus maintained its originality over these many years. One of the main eye-catching aspects is the mismatched colors.

The dark blue stripes on the white helmet and white jerseys with royal blue and grey mixed pants make it one of the unique combinations. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Penn State product had other plans in mind. The Jets recently announced their change of jerseys and helmets via Twitter. It seems Parsons was amazed, looking at the dashing black costume.
As a result, the youngster suggested the Cowboys management for a similar all-black uniform. “Please Dallas!! All black unis!!” he wrote on Twitter.

Even though it might give the defensive star a dapper look, this franchise doesn’t have the history of entertaining a sudden transition, and seems improbable.
Unlike other teams, they do not change the jerseys often, and even at home, Cowboys tend to wear those white outfits. A few years ago, the equipment director was asked the reason behind it. He mentioned that heat in the state forced them to make the move.
“Originally, the white at home started with the heat, especially at Texas Stadium,” equipment director Mike McCord said in an interview. “As hot as it could be for our late-August, early-September games, I think the heat was a big factor, and one of those things was making the other teams wear dark jerseys on the road, as well as standing in the sun on the sidelines in the old stadium was a huge factor in that,” he added.

This suggestion by Parsons took no time to spread like a wildfire. And no doubt, this will catch the attention of Jones in a couple of hours. Fans can tune in for the Billionaire’s comments on this statement. Meanwhile, the fans right now are busy customizing the jerseys to black.
