The Dallas Cowboys take on the Green Bay Packers in week 10 Sunday Night Football. And though the Packers are on a five-game losing streak, the Cowboys know that they cannot take their opponents lightly. And linebacker Micah Parsons has a roach story he heard from his grandmother for anyone who does take the game lightly.

The Cowboys are looking to seal a seventh win of the 2022 season on Sunday.

Roach story by Micah Parsons

Talking to Yahoo Sports, Parsons narrated the story he takes a great life lesson from.My grandma told me: If you see a roach, and it’s fooling around, do you step on it and bury it or do you let it rebuild and get back to life?” Parsons told Yahoo Sports. “You step on it. I live life with no remorse. You can’t have no remorse in this game [or] it turns up to bite you,” Parsons said.

So even if Aaron Rodgers has thrown as many interceptions in the last two games as he had the entire last season, the Cowboys won’t take him lightly.

This season so far for the Packers and the Cowboys

The Packers started the season as one of the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl. But things have turned out quite differently. Green Bay won just three of the nine games they have played so far. The Cowboys, on the other hand, have won six out of the eight they have featured in.

The Packers last won a game in week four when they defeated the New England Patriots. Since then, the team is on a five-game losing streak. Most recently, they lost to the Detroit Lions. Aaron Rodgers had a particularly bad game as the last year’s MVP threw three interceptions in the game. The Lions won 15-9.
