The Cowboys star shared his thoughts on the government working towards bringing back WNBA star, Brittany Griner. However, the Cowboys star commented on what the current government seems to have missed in terms of bringing back someone. This refers to a Marine that the government has not brought back yet.
Parson’s initial comments
Micah Parsons took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the incident that has taken place abroad. WNBA star, Brittany Griner was detained in Russia for the alleged possession of drugs. After about 10 months of negotiations, she was finally released back to the USA in exchange for a prisoner swap.
The NFL star commented on Twitter with a reference to a story he shared. The story spoke about how there was still a Marine that had not been bought back to the country. Parsons was very interrogative about this on Twitter.
Wait nah!! We left a marine?!! Hell nah https://t.co/3AeQx8K9OZ

Parsons spoke about how he was happy that the basketballer’s family had her back. He even tweeted about this and said, “My last tweet was no shot at Brittney Griner. I’m super happy she’s back home as she should be. I just have family who have served and it’s crazy to me the President wouldn’t bring him home too.” The player clarified his words after he faced a lot of backlash for his words. However, the question here remains is what are the linebacker’s true thoughts, and did he change his stance based only on the backlash he faced.
