Last Monday, Buffalo Bills decimated the Tennessee Titans in a blowout game. Despite the win, the Bills camp is sweating over the injury of their All-Pro safety, Micah Hyde. During the match, Hyde tackled Robert Brooks, the wide receiver of the Titans, and landed on his head. After medical treatment, he stood up and gingerly left the field and later went into the locker room.

Upon evaluation, the medical team found out that Hude suffered a neck injury, which forced him out for the rest of the game. After the game, the All-Pro safety went to the Erie County Medical Center for further evaluation. Since then, he missed consecutive practice sessions, and the head coach of the Bills, Sean McDermott, denied any comments on Hyde’s injury.
Now a recent report emerged, which stated that the All-Pro safety is looking for a second opinion after getting the scan and diagnosis results back. Because of his neck injury, he has already missed both Wednesday’s and Thursday’s practice sessions. On Sunday, the Bills will play the Miami Dolphins. It is highly unlikely we will see Hyde making an appearance in that game after the serious neck injury he sustained during the Titans match.
#Bills Hyde is seeking a second opinion on his neck injury from Monday, going out of town.
That is a significant development. This could change his availability for Sunday. https://t.co/61b5ghG71T

Now, looking for a second opinion means his previous test results were not good. Also, it could mean that he did not like the timeframe given by the doctors for his possible return. At this point, it’s all just speculation, as the 31-year-old safety wants to come back onto the field as soon as possible.
Micah Hyde had a similar kind of injury in 2015

In 2015, Hyde was playing for the Green Bay Packers when he suffered a neck injury during a pre-season game against Philadelphia Eagles. In that match, he felt some pain in his neck after making an interception and had to leave the match in between.
Interestingly, he recovered from that injury pretty quickly and return to the field against the Chicago Bears. After that, he did not have any massive injuries, until now. Meanwhile, the Bills have been one of the best defensive teams over the past five years, and Hyde was a big part of that defense.
Since 2017, they have allowed only 87 touchdowns, the fewest in the NFL over a five-year period. On Sunday, they will certainly miss Hyde’s services as they take on the Dolphins. It is worth noting that both teams have been unbeaten so far in the season, which will definitely change this Sunday.
