From the very moment Tom Brady announced his retirement with an emotional 54 seconds video on February 1, 2023, his return from retirement has been a trending subject in the NFL universe. Based on his residential preferences and the proximity to his children, the Miami Dolphins were the number one choice to land the 7x Super Bowl champion. Brady quickly denied the rumors. And this week, Miami’s recent NFL scheduling news has all but erased any hopes of Brady becoming a Dolphin.
It has been recently speculated and hypothesized that Tom Terrific isn’t a fan of long-distance flights and traveling. And the Miami Dolphins’ new combined travel schedule for the 2023 season will surely discourage the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback from even thinking about a return to the gridiron.

The anti-traveling speculations arose this week when New York Post sports media insider Andrew Marchand made a few predictions based on his conversations with sources close to Brady. According to Marchand, there was now a significant chance that Tom Brady can walk away from his 10-year $375 million mega broadcasting deal. “I’m going 49 percent chance he does it and a 51 percent chance he doesn’t. He doesn’t want to travel that much. Obviously, he’s going to go private,” Marchand said on his podcast.
This new nugget of speculation makes Tom Brady’s anticipated comeback to the NFL a far-fetched circumstance. The Miami Dolphins were at the forefront of the Brady comeback rumors. However, they recently got their 2023-24 team fixtures and travel schedules. And looks like the Fins will have to travel a lot this season.
Seahawks will travel 31,600 miles this season, the most in the NFL, per @billsperos.

The Dolphins are third highest in total team travel mileage, estimated to cover 27,110 miles across 18 time zones. They only rank behind the Seattle Seahawks (31,600) and the San Francisco 49ers (29,958).
In comparison, Brady’s Buccaneers are slated to travel 23,764 miles, while the New England Patriots will travel 23,299 miles. Both of Brady’s former franchises will cover 26 time zones in the upcoming season. This also included the international fixtures and the travel mileage involved in the overseas trips.

Ever since his divorce from his ex-wife and supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady has been spending all his time with his kids, Benny, Vivian, and Jack. When Bündchen bought a Miami mansion right across from Brady’s bachelor pad to help the kids transition, fans and experts had only one thing on their minds- Tom Brady is becoming a Dolphins quarterback. However, the rising hopes were quickly squashed by Brady himself.
“Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2-month-old kitten for their daughter,” TB12 tweeted.
Cats and travel. That’s what is keeping Brady out of the game at 45. Do you think the 5x Super Bowl MVP will have a change of heart before the 2023 season kicks in?
