Mike McDaniel on Miami Dolphins attack
Being an ex-offensive coordinator, the focus of the new Dolphins HC was the attack. After doing some in-depth self-analysis, McDaniel has collected some data. He has done some research on the quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
On the QB, Mike said, “I wanted to let him know I’m excited to work with him.” He adds, “From what I heard, his work ethic is outstanding. I can tell he’s really going to attack it.” The HC then explained how Tagovailoa plays with a chip on his shoulder. He said that he needed the quarterback in the system. The coach wants to work on fundamentals and build an offense around Tua.
Coach McDaniel then addressed the play that will catch for Tagovailoa. The wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. “I talked with him,” said Mike. “He understands his leadership role on this team. The easiest way to get yards is to give it to a really talented player. I would start him in fantasy leagues.”
Under the leadership of the new HC, the Dolphins attack seems very solid.
