The Netflix docuseries ‘Quarterback’ gave fans an insight into the family of Patrick Mahomes. The show, produced by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, does not only cover what went down on the field, but it also gives fans access to everything that went down behind the curtains in the lives of QB Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota. The show also showed the life of Mahomes’ controversy-ridden younger brother, Jackson. His limited screen time was still enough to leave fans divided over their perception of him, who is fighting a legal battle because of an alleged sexual assault incident back in February. On the other hand, their mother, Randi Mahomes, is on her own journey, as she continues to enjoy her single life.

Mahomes’ dad, former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes Sr, and Randi divorced back in 2006 when the 2X SB champ was still a kid. After bringing up her two children, the 50-year-old mother is continuing to make memories in her life with her 12YO gem.

After her divorce, Randi Mahomes had another child. On the 12th of July 2011, Ria Mandall, the half-sister of Patrick Mahomes, graced the family with her birth. And while her elder son goes on to achieve fame and glory in the NFL, the mother of three has been busy living life with her youngest child.

The mother of the Chiefs QB shared a reel on Instagram. In the reel, we see Mia engaging in making a trick shot. The clip shows her bouncing a ball off the wall into a cup. Randi Mahomes wrote in the video that despite it being their “first try”, her 12-year-old daughter successfully unlocked her trick-shot mastery.

It’s been a difficult time for Randi in the past few months. She lost her mother, who helped her in bringing up her two sons. But despite the void left by her death, the mother of three seems to be slowly finding her happy place once again.

Randi working her way through the tunnel of grief

After the death of her mother, Debbie Martin Bates, Randi was heartbroken. She took to social media several times to share precious memories of her mother, whom she holds dear in her life. Not only this, but she also started a GoFund Me page to start a scholarship for underprivileged children in honor of Debbie Martin’s life. But despite the family losing one of their strongest pillar of support, Randi Mahomes seems to be doing better than before. For the past few weeks, she’s been spending more time with her daughter. Just like her NFL son, her daughter also shares a deep love of sports, especially basketball and tennis. And Randi Mahomes does her best to support her daughter in her passion in any way she can.
