Rap icon Nicki Minaj joins the celebration of the success of Ciara

Ciara’s success with her latest single is being celebrated amongst her fans around the world. ‘Da Girls’, her latest empowerment anthem, stands at the No 12 position of Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales tally this week. Joining the celebration is another iconic female rapper, Nicki Minaj.

The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker recently shared an Instagram story of Ciara. In the story, we see the wife of Russell Willson rapping to the lyrics of ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’. This song is from Nicki’s 2023 album, ‘Girls’ Night Out’. From the video, we see both artists supporting each other in their musical endeavors.

Before the success of her song, the singer and her husband Russell Wilson came under heavy criticism from fans after Ciara decided to attend the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a raunchy dress.

Ciara was at the receiving end of backlashes at the Oscars, wearing a sheer revealing outfit. The dress received a lot of backlash and negativity on the internet. Fans started to question the morals of Wilson and his wife, questioning how the QB is comfortable with his wife. But Wilson has always supported his wife through their careers as well as their personal life. Ciara clapped back at all the negativity in her own fashion. After the whole fiasco, Ciara got back to making music, as the mother of three is enjoying the boom and rise of her latest single amidst all the haters and trolls of her personal life choices.
