Tom Brady has to answer questions surrounding his future at every corner of the media maze. And with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback entering free agency next year, the questions have compounded in frequency and complications. However, this time it was Brady’s most likely head coach in the future, Sean Payton, who had to do the answering.

TB12 won 6 Super Bowls with Bill Belichick and the NE Patriots. And won his last one with Bruce Arians’ Buccaneers. And Brady and Payton have never discounted the idea of playing together.
Is Tom Brady joining Payton when he returns to the NFL?
On ‘The Season With Peter Schrager’, Schrager asked Sean, “So, Tom Brady, is he going to be your quarterback where ever you go?” Sean was visibly thrown off. “There are a number of things that play into Tom’s decision. And I can’t speak for Tom. I haven’t talked to Tom. Over the years, we’ve stayed in touch. But never worked together. I think there are too many variables in that equation,” Payton told Peter about the most exciting free agent next year.
Sean Payton’s answer about Tom Brady didn’t quite clear things up and fans made their assumptions.
That was a solid non-answer.

Sean Payton and Tom Brady both belong originally from the California area. However, Payton still thinks that the team-up possibility is only viable if it’s for Fox Sports. Tampa Tom already has a $375 million 10-year contract and fans made their separate interpretations.
Sean Payton and Tom Brady teaming up didn’t go well with the Buccaneers fans
Brady just led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the playoff and an NFC South divisional title after beating the Carolina Panthers last week. And Tom seems to be getting back in the playoff TB12 mold after booking his 14th straight playoff berth. One fan thought that the free-agency and Payton partnerships could wait until the end of this season to avoid distractions.
If I were the @Buccaneers or @jasonrlicht – who have both been good to @PSchrags – I’m not talking to him about ANYTHING anymore for running this piece while we’re trying to start our playoff prep. This could wait until the player is actually a FREE AGENT. Such a double standard.

The 15x Pro Bowler had 432 passing yards and a hat-trick of passing touchdowns, connecting with WR Mike Evans against Carolina. Evans has also returned to form in the Panthers game and entered the small list of wideouts with 9 or more 1000-yard seasons. And with an offense slowly shaping around Brady, Tom Terrific might find it difficult to move again. Oh, and he also loves Tampa and is building his future home hours away in Biscayne Bay, Miami.

WATCH THIS STORY: Paige Spiranac once thanked Tom Brady minutes before making a very bizarre bet
With over 4600 passing yards this season and 24 TDs in the bag, Brady has to only look out for the interceptions. And clearly, with no retirement plans on the horizon, next year’s quarterback free agency will be a thing of spectacle.
