However, rumors of his return have raised some speculations, especially since Jimmy Garoppolo‘s foot surgery. Adding more to the speculation, a star player from the Las Vegas Raiders hinted at the possibility of Tom Brady’s return this week, intensifying the excitement even further.
During Monday’s interview with Bleacher Report, the question posed to Maxx Crosby, the defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, was about Brady’s connection to the team. The interviewer mentioned that Brady is now considered a minority owner of the Raiders and inquired about the likelihood of him returning to the field and throwing passes. Crosby gave out honest details about Brady in a Raiders jersey and his encounter with him at the facility.
Crosby didn’t deny Brady’s playing again

It was questioned if DE Crosby had any conversations with Brady at the team’s facility. In response, Crosby shared that he had indeed encountered Tom Brady at the facility a couple of weeks ago. He described, “It was a couple weeks ago, and it was super casual, and random. I was not expecting to see Tom Brady on that day, it was like a Wednesday or something.” Crosby expressed his surprise at seeing Brady there on that particular day but acknowledged that Brady was great to interact with. Crosby then addressed the possibility of Brady making a comeback with the Raiders.
Crosby mentioned that the team already has their QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who will be returning and recovering from an injury, “Honestly, we got Jimmy G [Garoppolo], he’s coming back, he’s gonna be healthy. But you never know what’s going to happen, Tom Brady’s competitor the greatest of all time. So at the absolute worst if everything doesn’t go the way it’s supposed to and we need them, I would not be surprised if Tom Brady shows up in the Raider Jersey.”

However, Crosby gave an honest, for an unfavorable condition, he wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Brady showed up wearing a Raider jersey if necessary.
Tom Brady’s call on the comeback
It has been reported, in an interview with Rich Eisen, that Brady expressed his excitement for becoming a minority owner, considering it a dream fulfilled, given his upbringing in the Bay Area and admiration for the franchise. Notably, NFL legends like Troy Aikman have stated that they cannot discount the idea of Brady donning the Las Vegas uniform in 2023, particularly due to his existing relationship with coach Josh McDaniels, forged during their tenure with the Patriots.

However, Brady did not say much to Rich Eisen about his Raiders comeback, but he broke the mystery surrounding the rumors. He said that he is definitely ‘tired of getting hit’ and that he does not plan to return to the field as a player. So, Brady’s response to Rich Eisen mostly denied the comeback rumors, but he also left some room for speculation.
