NBA analyst for ESPN, Stephen A. Smith hosts ‘First Take’ – one of the highest-rated sports debate shows on television. He has managed to take the show to unimaginable heights. Recently, an old clip from Terrell Owens discussing Max Kellerman surfaced, which prompted Smith to threaten Owens in return.

Recently, the host of ‘First Take’ was featured on ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’ where he talked about the Terrell Owen situation. It is spread in the air that he’ll be exposing the wide receiver Terrell Owens on his show on Monday. Owens retweeted a tweet on his account sharing his thoughts on the situation and what he thinks Smith will be exposing him about.

Smith’s revealed the truth regarding Terrell Owens

The wide receiver took to Twitter to reshare the tweet posted by the radio show host Robert Littal. Littal’s post talked about Smith exposing Owens on his show about the incident where Owens called Max Kellerman blacker than Smith. Many people believe that this was the reason which got Kellerman fired from his old job.

Owens captioned, “I can’t wait to hear what he’s going to expose me about. We’ll be waiting. Anything to get the people to tune into and increase the ratings on his show but I’m here for it.” He also revealed that no matter what, he’s still team Max. In the podcast, Smith revealed that Max was fired because he wasn’t an athlete before and didn’t have any experience in the field of journalism, so people were questioning why they should listen to him.

Stephen went on to say that the number of viewers was the same, it wasn’t increasing or decreasing and he wanted to win in this field which made him dislike working him. The sports journalist also said that they had multiple one-on-one conversations about it. The NBA player, Kyrie Irving also commented on the back-and-forth tweets on the two entities.

Irving’s sage intervention

The Little Mountain took to his X account and tweeted about the situation. Irving said that the two men need to act like adults and deal with this matter over a call or in person. He said, “Can y’all Call each other like Grown Mature Men and Clear the air without all of the extra social media back and forth?”

Smith replied to him quickly and backed down. The host added that the NBA player doesn’t know the whole story but he will still back down out of respect for Irving.
