Matthew Judon Dismisses Ex-Patriot Over Anti-Bill Belichick Advice to Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson remains to be one of the most spoken-about players of the offseason. Everyone has an opinion on what he should be doing in terms of his future and his tussles with the Baltimore Ravens. There have also been speculations as to which coach might be more interested in the quarterback. One of the most spoken-about landing spots for Jackson has been the New England Patriots. It would make sense, given the kind of void that has been left in terms of the Patriots’ quarterback situation. However, while there have been people hoping he would go to New England, he has received a word of warning from an ex-Patriots player.

Jackson received a very public word of warning from an old Patriots player who played under Bill Belichick. He went on to warn the quarterback against the move. Interestingly, the ex-player received some disciplining words from Matthew Judon, the current linebacker for the Patriots. This also led to fans going a little crazy behind Judon’s actions as he shushed an old Patriot.

Judon claps back to the cryptic warning meant for Lamar Jackson

While the rumors behind Jackson going to the Patriots continued to gain traction, an old Patriot, Asante Samuel went on to warn Jackson. While Samuel didn’t mention anything about the organization, he had slanderous words for the Patriots’ head coach, Bill Belichick. After his response went viral, the current linebacker, Judon responded to the slander with a simple yet effective response.

Interestingly, Samuel and Belichick won two Super Bowls together. However, the former cornerback for the Patriots clearly doesn’t agree with the way the coach is, with his team. He was adamant that Jackson shouldn’t be playing for Belichick. Thankfully for Belichick’s reputation, Judon was the knight in shining armor.

Furthermore, as Judon’s response went viral, even dedicated fans praised his actions. They ridiculed Samuel after Judon had a 6-word quip for the former cornerback.

NFL and Patriots fans took to Twitter to ridicule Samuel after he supposedly got burnt by the linebacker. One fan took to Twitter to praise Judon’s actions to bring Jackson over.

Furthermore, fans hailed him as a future leader.

There were also some comments mocking Samuel.

However, some fans believed that Jackson doesn’t want to play for the Patriots.

Finally, fans declared that Judon is the better Patriot than the other one.

All in all, fans are still convinced that Jackson might be planning on coming here. They also believed that Judon’s words on Twitter might entice him to come over to New England. Interestingly, Belichick has been frustratingly evasive in terms of who he might be planning on pursuing to be his quarterback.

While Belichick deliberates on who he might bring to the Patriots, Jackson fans await a decision. Only time will tell if the fans will have the pleasure of seeing Jackson fill in the big shoes of Brady.
