After being a free agent for the first time in his career following a controversial release from the Cleveland Browns, the receiver finds space in the Los Angeles Rams, which recently parted ways with DeSean Jackson.

The fan reaction following the breakout of the news was certainly a sight to see. As it was more of a surprise to see Odell Beckham Jr. join an already overcrowded roster of WRs alongside Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. However, his explanation seems to hold true as the Rams owner, Stan Kroenke, is married to Ann Walton Kroenke, an heiress to the Walmart fortune. Stan Kroenke isn’t the only member of his family who owns a sports franchise.

Stan’s wife Ann Walton also owns the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche. Indicating that there is enough wealth within the family to afford the three-time Pro Bowler even though being flooded with receivers in the franchise.
