Although fans appreciated their efforts, a section of those took a shot at the Buccaneers’ owners, the Glazer family, who also happens to own one of the iconic soccer fraternities, Manchester United.

The Glazer family was under the radar for alleged mismanagement that had pushed MU under a heap of huge debts.

Back in 1995, the Glazer bought the Buccaneers with a valuation of $192 million. Today, the team boasts a net worth of $3.3 billion, a surge of 1,618%, pretty huge in terms of revenue generation.

This very income helped them acquire MU in 2005. However, mounting debts amounted to more than $1.2 billion. At the time of acquisition, there weren’t any debts.
