After a glorious 23 seasons in the NFL, we saw NFL GOAT Tom Brady finally calling it quits from professional football. The seven-time Super Bowl winner has had a career that speaks volumes about him as a player. While Brady decided to hang up his cleats for good this time, teams like the Raiders and Dolphins considered Brady for a potential last dance in his career. But it seems like we will possibly not see Tom Brady go into free agency for a second time. However, one NFL analyst wants the GOAT to join this team and turn their way around.

After one final season with the Buccaneers in 2022, Brady has decided to move on to other things in life. So why is the QB still a topic of discussion in the NFL world? Why are teams still eyeing Brady to be a part of their roster?

According to an article by David Bonilla on 49ers Webzone, when the 2019 season of the NFL ended, Brady wanted to be a part of the San Francisco 49ers. But after the 49ers decided to be with Jimmy Garoppolo, Brady joined the Buccaneers. Now, three years after that incident, the team still wants to pursue Tom Brady. The only minute difficulty is that Brady has retired for good this time, or so we think.

Furthermore, NFL analyst Mike Silver thinks that the 49ers could be the last perfect final destination for Brady to sing his last hooray. He believes that if nothing else, the San 49ers should at least try and have a talk with Brady. In an interview with Colin Cowherd on the ‘Colin Cowherd Podcast’, Silver said, “I think if you’re the Niners, you ask Brady again. I think you let the dust settle for a while. It just makes too much sense now, especially Purdy, with the surgery being pushed back, which, A, is kind of a sign. Like this whole ‘He’s going to be back in six months’ is not written in stone. B, it does push the timeline already very very close.”

Trey Lance and Brock Purdy both suffered from injuries last season. While one recovering and the other awaits his surgery, Brady could look like the person who can bring back the whole team together.
