Vontae Davis might be in deep trouble right now. Just days ago, the news of his arrest over a DUI became viral and fans had some unforgiving reactions to it. There were some brutal comparisons of him to controversial ex-NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown. Furthermore, it seems like some recent news came to light that might incriminate the ex-Buffalo Bills cornerback even more.

After further investigation, some more news has come to light about what exactly transpired when Davis was arrested. There were even reveals of some pictures that make it painfully clear that Davis might not be innocent.

The new information that has come to light has made it clear that Davis has committed some serious mistakes. It showcased Davis sleeping soundly outside his car. These snaps have reportedly come just minutes after Davis allegedly crashed his car into a stationary car on the side of the highway.

Furthermore, it seems like Davis was not even able to stand up straight or retain steady consciousness. He had to be carried into the squad car, as per TMZ. The police also took Davis’s statement. It seems like the ex-NFL star is taking up an interesting position on the whole incident that occurred.

Davis’ defense for himself

It seems like the ex-NFL player has an interesting stance on his detainment. He was initially questioned by the police. They had explained to him that he had all the classic telltale signs of being drunk. Furthermore, the ex-cornerback was constantly fading in and out of consciousness during the initial questioning by the police. However, Davis did try to defend himself. He went on to say that he had ingested two ‘mixed’ drinks and that he himself had no actual recollection of the accident that occurred.

It seems like it was almost miraculous that all parties in the accident came out unscathed and alive. Furthermore, Davis was ultimately booked under a DUI charge. Since the accident occurred, Davis has interestingly pleaded not guilty to the charge. This came even after all the initial evidence has pointed out otherwise. It seems like from Davis’ point of view, there might be more to the story. However, as of now, it seems like a case of irresponsible driving and great luck in terms of no one getting injured.
