The 26-year-old McCaffrey flew to San Francisco just two days ago, and he did not think twice about appearing for the Sunday matchup. Considered the “Cooper Kupp of running backs” there was a huge interest in his trade before the 49ers locked his name. He expressed his excitement at joining the new team.

What did Christian McCaffrey say about attending the Sunday game?

The 26-year-old remarked the decision on his playing status would be up to the team. Meanwhile, head Coach Kyle Shanahan said he does not have any worries about how the new talent would feel physically after a long journey. It emphasized the fact that the youngster is good to go if he adjusts to the team’s strategy. And he did, according to the team management.

However, the young talent is prone to injuries. Earlier he played only 10 out of 33 games combined in the 2020 and 2021 seasons. But he has been a regular feature of the Panthers and has been doing well. He would aim to continue his fine run and drive his new team forward on Sunday.

The task is enormous, as he will be up against Patrick Mahomes and his men. Kansas City Chiefs will look to reverse their fortunes. They lost 24-20 against the Bills in the last game. Chiefs would look to learn from their mistakes.
