With this loss, Rodgers and Co have leveled their season record to 3-3. They could only post 10 against the Jets’ 27 by the end of the final whistle. A huge blow to the team happened in the third quarter when the veteran wideout Randall Cobb incurred an ankle injury. After some checkups from the medic team, he was carted towards the locker room for X Rays and further diagnosis. Initially, it was speculated as a season-ending injury, but after X-Rays, it was confirmed that he suffered an ankle sprain only. Something which Aaron Rodgers spoke about after returning to the locker room. Soon, the NFL insider Ian Rapoport revealed this good news to the outside world.

However, it is yet to be seen when Cobb will get the clearance to get back to the field. In Sunday’s game, he only had a single catch for eight yards.

He left for the Cowboys in 2019 but again, returned last year to add more strength to the depth chart. “I think he needs more opportunities for sure. He’s earned them.” Aaron Rodgers spoke in a recent interview about the veteran.
