Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers came extremely close to an incredible come-around playoff berth snatch. However, they fell to divisional rivals Detroit Lions in their Week 18 matchup. And ever since then, A-Rod has disappeared from social media platforms. Besides, his fans fear the worst; retirement.
The veteran quarterbacks in the league are leaving a lot up for debate with their ambiguous press conferences. Aaron Rodgers still has two years left on his $150 million 3-year contract. However, it’s been 21 days since the reigning back-to-back NFL MVP posted or retweeted on Twitter.

Statistically, Aaron Rodgers had an off-year of throwing. His 3695 yards this season is his first with under 4000 passing yards in 5 years. His 12 interceptions this season are also his second-highest after his 13 picks from the 2008 season. And understandably, there has been a lot of speculation about the 39-year-old returning to Wisconsin for another run at the Lombardi.
However, Twitter fans can take a breather. Aaron Rodgers came on The Pat McAfee Show and cleared a lot of doubts. Maybe not as much as some would like. A-Rod clearly is not ready to make any decision about his future yet. And as far as the Packers are concerned, they are not pressing for an answer anytime soon either. “I am not mentally or emotionally at that point to give an answer,” Rodgers told McAfee and crew.
“You have got to remember there are two sides to this, so what is going on the other side and where are we at roster-wise? And then it comes down to intuition and what it feels like in your body and what it feels like in your mind. That’s going to be the answer until I’m ready and when I’m ready to give my opinion like I did last year, I’m all in or I’m out,” the 2011 Super Bowl MVP said.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers crashed out of the playoff after losing 31-14 to the Dallas Cowboys. And Tom Brady‘s ambiguous goodbye message after a four-and-a-half-minute press conference left many fans wondering if the seven-time Super Bowl champion is finally calling it quits.
Brady thanked the Buccaneers’ organization and fans for welcoming him into their hearts. TB12 also discussed the losing dilemma in a mature way before ending the presser abruptly. And with Brady already having made off-season golfing plans with his partner Aaron Rodgers, this recent announcement from the Packer sounds rather ominous.
