However, Brady couldn’t control himself about the post since OT bears a striking resemblance to Ryan Jensen, and he even preserves the replica of Ryan’s teeth, the center for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Buccaneers’ OT pick from North Dakota State was chosen in the 48th pick today. Starting 39 consecutive games, he played a crucial role in his team’s success, winning 78 games and four national championships in 6 years. However, the new OT for Bucs and the center for Bucs, Ryan, have a similar appearance, something that caught the people’s attention.

The Buccaneers’ Instagram post showed Cody wearing Ryan’s jersey number 66, and he was holding a poster of Ryan next to him with a big smile, emphasizing their resemblance. Even Tom Brady couldn’t resist laughing and commented with several lol emojis. Fans also found the situation amusing and joined in on the fun.

Cody Mauch’s potential as a rookie starter

Cody Mauch, the Buccaneers’ second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, spoke to the media after being selected. When asked if he expected to be drafted by the Buccaneers, he replied, “Yeah, I had multiple meetings with them during the Senior Bowl, the combine, and through Zoom with the o-line coaches. We went over film and the playbook, so I had good communication with them throughout the whole process.”

According to the GM of Minnesota Vikings, Rick Spielman, he is an excellent athlete and pass protector, with great finishing ability. Cody has played left tackle with short arms, but they are projecting him to move inside to guard. He has also played center and showed no issue adjusting to the speed of defensive tackles. He has a chance to be a rookie starter for the Buccaneers.
