The Los Angeles Rams have done it. They are the Super Bowl LVI champions. After an amazing season, it all came down to tonight. The man behind this victory was none other than the DT Aaron Donald. 

It was the game-winning sack by the 30-year-old that brought it home for the Rams. This year’s Super Bowl was one for the ages. The Bengals put up a tough fight but could not triumph at the SoFi Stadium. Donald became the hero of the night, and he rightfully deserves the big shiny championship ring.

Aaron Donald wins the Super Bowl

The Rams took the lead early in the game. But the Bengals were quick to answer. After an amazing halftime show performance by hip-hop legends, Cincinnati took the lead. The second half was all Bengals until the fourth quarter. LA scored its second touchdown of the night. Aaron Donald put a stop to a possible game-threatening attack and won it all.

After the game, Aaron Donald was interviewed on the field. He got very emotional. The interviewer asked the DT his immediate feeling. Donald answered, “I’m so happy. I wanted this so bad.” He adds, “I dreamed this, man. I dreamed this, like, it’s surreal, look at this. Look at this, man. I feel amazing. This feels amazing, man. I feel great.”

She then asked Donald what did he see in that last play so he was able to make the game-winning sack? “Stray! Stray! You know, one last play to be world champs. Give it everything you’ve got. I found a way to get to them. We made a play, we won. That’s all that matters.” What the last play it was. Donald won everyone’s heart along with the ring tonight.

The report then asked how does it feel to dream about winning and actually winning the Lombardi trophy?

“It’s the best feeling in the world. God is great, God is great.” Donald teared up and continued, “I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what to say. This is the best. This is the best.”

Donald had previously said that he might retire when the Rams win the Super Bowl. The reporter asked Aaron about his retirement. He replied. “I’m in the moment. I’m just gonna enjoy this right now, with these guys. My kids are coming onto the field. This is a promise I made to my daughter when she was 5. They are gonna fire the confetti for me, man, and I’m just gonna live in the moment.” Aaron Donald has won the Super Bowl LVI for the fans, his teammates, but most importantly for his daughter; he is a true future Hall of Famer.
