Cursing on live TV has always been frowned upon. But when Marshawn Lynch is put on TV, there is always a risk of him dropping heavy artillery. And that is exactly what happened on Friday night.



The former Seattle Seahawks running back appeared on ESPN for Friday night college football. And he certainly left an impression.

NFL world reacts to the Marshawn Lynch speech bomb

Marshawn Lynch appeared on ESPN’s coverage of the college football game between the Washington Huskies and the California Golden Bears. And while talking on national TV, he inadvertently dropped a heavy curse. The former Seahawks player immediately understood and corrected himself, but the fans had already heard that. And as it happens, the video of the segment was soon on the internet.

The NFL world reacted to Lynch’s heavy artillery on live tv. While some fans wanted a censor button for Lynch, others said one should be the real them.

Same old Lynch

This is not the first time that Marshawn Lynch has done what he did. Back in 2017, when Lynch, nicknamed ‘Beast Mode’, was with the Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders, he once crashed a live TV segment and cursed twice. Not only that, but he also ended up hitting on the TV reporter.

Going even further back in 2015, Lynch attended the Golden State Warriors’ NBA victory parade and again stole all the thunder. He dropped a curse word on live TV. Lynch really lives on his own terms.

Lynch joined the NFL when the Buffalo Bills drafted him in 2007. After playing three seasons for the Bills, he joined the Seahawks in 2010. Lynch went on to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy in 2013 when the Seahawks won the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos. He was the NFL’s rushing touchdown leader that season.

The RB is a five-time Pro Bowler, once with the Bills in 2008 and four times with the Seahawks from 2011 to 2014. He ended his career in 2019, playing for the Raiders. All through his career, Lynch carried an unfiltered persona. And frankly, it doesn’t seem like he is going to change.
