LSU beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in a nail-biter of a finish. The Tigers got through the finish line just by a marginal 1-point difference. Lil Wayne got in on the celebrations as per usual as he took to Twitter to announce his excitement.

Lil Wayne is a tiger

The Louisiana rapper has been part of many LSU showdowns in the past. As an avid supporter of the team, he was on Cloud 9 when his team beat the better-seeded Alabama last night. Lil Wayne, who commonly goes as Lil Weezy, even took time out to change the LSU acronym to one that suits him. He said “Lilweezyana State University” in his tweet in a creative wordplay for the tigers.

He even went on to take a dig at the Bama’s catchphrase of Roll tide “Nah Roll one tf up for them tigers” as he applauded his team’s performance. He also shouted out to LSU Coach Brian Kelly, asking him to do a southern accent on the podium, which would go on to be a jibe at the Southern represents Alabama. The LSU fan is also an avid football fan, as he is often seen at Green Bay Packers games.

Lil Wayne fans got candid on his Twitter post as they responded to their favorite rapper. An Alabama fan didn’t hold back from expressing his sorrow as Mr. Carter rubs salt on his wound. He shared a video to express how he felt.

Another Alabama fan wasn’t too happy about this Tweet. He was willing to dethrone the rapper from his perch of being the greatest for him.

An LSU fan had double the reason to celebrate as he felt honored to be shouted out by the famous rapper.

The LSU-Alabama game

First Saturday of every November marks the Alabama- LSU game or also known as the Saban bowl. The match not only was a contest for bragging rights. The result also has a lasting impact on the teams’ seasons. Both teams are now 7-2 for the season. LSU’s win means Alabama won’t get a spot for the SEC Championship game.

This was also coach Brian Kelly’s first-ever win against Alabama, which is a huge feat for him. LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels will forever be remembered for this 25-yard rushing touchdown. To top it off, he followed it up with the two-point conversion. LSU vs. Alabama always calls for a spectacle, and yesterday was nothing short of one. Though LSU trails in the overall head-to-head battle, this win is enormous for them as they look to build a dominant program under coach Kelly and bully the SEC.
