Reflecting on their initial connection, Gronkowski shed light on the intriguing dynamics that set the stage for their legendary collaboration.

When asked about them sharing the same wavelength from the initial stage, Gronkowski firmly denied it and shared, “Oh yeah I mean that was not the same way wavelength. At first, I mean at first I thought he was out of control man, I was like this dude, this dude crazy like, I just know really yeah I never seen anyone in what way. Like a d***head like kind of. I was like he’s like a coach like like this isn’t like my buddy.”

In 2019, Gronkowski stepped away from the NFL, but Brady’s encouragement paved the way for his return in the 2020-2021 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where their collaborative efforts resulted in another Super Bowl victory, marking Gronk’s fourth.

Throughout their NFL journey, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski the duo recorded 620 receptions for 9,275 yards and a staggering 93 touchdowns in 141 games. Gronkowski announced his retirement for the second time in 2022, following a tough season spoiled by injuries. And Tom Brady took retirement in 2023, marking the end of an era for these legendary athletes. With 90 regular-season touchdowns to their credit, the duo stands as the NFL’s second-best quarterback-receiver pair, trailing only Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison.
