Kansas City Chiefs QB and Dallas Mavericks fan Patrick Mahomes tweeted his support for the team and for their star player Luka Doncic. It came after the Mavericks’ victory over the Phoenix Suns in Game 7.

Doncic put in a heroic shift, helping his side to get a 30-point lead over the Suns. The final match score was- Mavericks 123-90 Suns.

Patrick Mahomes and the Dallas Mavericks

Texan sports are close to Mahomes’ heart as the QB was born and raised in Texas. Himself a part of the Kansas City Chiefs as QB, Mahomes is an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA.

Commenting on Luka Doncic’s stellar performance in giving Dallas their winning position, Mahomes tweeted two words from his official handle, “Go Crazy!!!!! @luka7doncic”.

Luka Doncic was spectacular in the opening 24 minutes of the match, leading all the scorers with 27 points. Doncic finished the match with 35 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in just 30 minutes of play.

Doncic’s dominance in the game shows because he scored as many points (27) as the entire Suns did in the first half of Game 7.

Mahomes in the NFL

Mahomes himself has an enviable record in the NFL. As the starting QB of the Kansas City Chiefs, he has led them to victory in the Super Bowl in the 2019 season, beating the San Francisco 49ers. In his first year as a starter, he received multiple awards, including the selection to the Pro Bowl team. He also won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year and NFL Most Valuable Player awards.

He has also been involved in a rivalry with Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the Bucs QB currently leading the score 3-2. The 2022 season is important to Mahomes regarding this rivalry. This season is potentially Brady’s last playing season in the NFL.
