The topic of gun culture is a growing question of concern in the United States of America. Players in the NFL have also been raising awareness against gun violence, as they held during the league’s ‘My Cause My Cleats’ campaign last year. Even the Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. was a victim of a violent gun attack, as he was shot twice during an attempted carjacking last summer. Addressing these issues, a former NFL player opened up about this ongoing crisis.
As the concern around gun culture continues to grow, an Ex-NFL veteran has come forward to shine more light on the debate of gun culture amidst another scarring gun incident.

During a recent episode of Marcellus Wiley on Youtube, the ex-NFL star brought to light a shocking gun violence incident where three teenagers were involved in a school bus shooting incident in Maryland. Talking about the issue, Wiley stated that the narrative surrounding gun culture needs to undergo a change.
He said, ”Let’s just start with the obvious. Guns are in America. And guns are easily accessible. Not always easily legally but certainly in the black market. As you can see for 14-year-old kids, guns are accessible. We have to change that conversation, we have to change that reality right?” He also believes that because of two extreme factions in the gun culture debate, not a lot of progress is being made in society.

The suspect even pulled the trigger in an attempt to murder the teen, but the gun was jammed, resulting in the bullets flying out of the gun. But the violence did not stop there. While the gun failed to shoot, the suspect physically assaulted the teen, before fleeing from the scene with his two other acquaintances.
