A similar situation arises when a false report from The Athletic Diana Russini claims that Lions GM Brad Holmes inquired about Trey Lance. However, after remaining silent for so long Holmes decided to end this rumor, ” The Trey Lance thing in particular, I never reached out. I never inquired about the player or anything.”
