Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have an Augean task at hand. The team is the only NFL side with a losing record in the playoffs. They finished the season at 8-9 after losing their final game against the Atlanta Falcons on week 18.

However, owing to a weak NFC South, the team clinched the division title in week 17 only. Now they find themselves in the postseason. It is safe to assume that TB12 will not take this opportunity lightly and will be training hard.

But taking a little break from the preparations, the 45-year-old took a little time out to meet with Daddy Yankee.

Tom Brady meets Daddy Yankee

The internet was treated to a picture of the two established icons having a chat together. pop sensation Daddy Yankee posted a snap of the duo standing in what seemed like the training ground of the Bucs.

He captioned the post, “An honor to meet this gentleman, an example of discipline, persistence, perseverance and leadership; And above all execute perfectly in the moment of pressure. An example, on and off the pitch. Framed the jersey that says “A G.O.A.T friend” Much respect to ‘The Goat Tom Brady.”

The now retired Puerto Rican rapper and singer nearly broke the NFL world with the unlikely meeting. Many fans replied to the post with words of delight and admiration for both the seasoned veterans of their own fields.

Another Puerto Rican rapper, Pusho, explained his admiration for the GOAT, “There are 2 or 3 making noise but they will never reach the level of the GOAT I feel Brady in the super bowl”

One fan wrote, “Both are examples of discipline, love for what they do.”

While another replied, “Two legends music + sports”

Playoff Brady incoming?

Following the conclusion of the regular season, no one will be scared of the Bucs who have struggled for the better part of the year. They will be facing off against the Dallas Cowboys on a Monday night matchup during the wild card rounds.

While many would expect the America’s team to get the job done and send the 7 time Super Bowl champion back home.

In the latest playoff power rankings, The Ringer ranked Brady at 10th among the 14 QBs who will be battling in the postseason. Even behind Dak Prescott, the Cowboys’ QB, who slotted in the 6th spot.

Brady is currently 7-0 against Dallas and has an 35-12 record in the playoffs. So while it looks like many have counted the GOAT out already, could they be in for a surprise?
