This year’s enshrinement ceremony in Canton, Ohio, saw Rich Eisen taking the stage during the Gold Jacket Dinner. The legendary NFL broadcaster was explaining some safety precautions. That moment, he pulled the leg of the Buckeye by referencing their last year’s game in Michigan Stadium.

Eisen said, “If you need help locating that nearest exit, just think of yourself as a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes in the middle of the fourth quarter last November in Michigan Stadium. That’s the way you look for an exit.”

Rich Eisen has clarified his allegiance. Furthermore, he has always used his sizable platform to highlight his favorite Wolverines, having graduated from Michigan in 1990. The host mentioned Michigan’s 42-27 victory over Ohio State on November 27. Interestingly, that moment was extraordinary as it marked the Wolverines’ first victory over their archrival since 2011.
