“In the past, I’ve been in romances where I felt I was swimming in fast-moving waters and others where the water was calm and still. When I chose Tom to be my life partner, I was fortunate to find a man calmer than he is stormy. As his teammates will tell you, Tom is someone you can count on,” Gisele wrote in her book.

The former Victoria’s Secret bombshell describes one incident in particular that exemplified Tom Brady’s skill as a leader both on and off the field. And this one forever remained with Gisele as it concerned her son, Benjamin.

The calm and collected dad

While Brady and Bündchen shared many similar characteristics like their shared love for health, nutrition, and a disciplined lifestyle, the age-old ‘opposites attract’ equation also played a role. Especially when it called for emergencies and immediate action.

One time, Benjamin dislocated his elbow. And this sent Gisele into a frenzied panic. However, Tom Terrific flew in for the rescue. Tom acted more rationally and analytically while she let the emotions out. “I was frantic until Tom appeared and took control of the situation. I might never be as calm and collected as Tom is. But I’m working at it,” Bündchen wrote. Brady and Bündchen ended their 13-year marriage in October 2022. However, their current differences aside, the couple separated on an amicable note. They split the custodial responsibilities of the kids evenly with a co-parenting plan in place. Just goes on to show that despite the divorce, Gisele still values Tom’s rock-solid dependency when it comes to their children, come what may.
