The offensive lineup of the Green Bay Packers is a mess. It has been the talk of the town this entire offseason. All thanks to one man, Aaron Rodgers. The quarterback first refused to sign an extension and was “Exploring his options.” But for now, he will be calling the shots again. 

Recently, his close bud and veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb made a tweet. This tweet has shaken up the entire Packers fanbase. They believe it is a cryptic message and Cobb is asking for a different quarterback to lead the attack next season.

Jordan Love over Aaron Rodgers?

The Green Bay Packers fans have already been dealing with a lot this offseason. First, there was all the drama surrounding the contract situation of Aaron Rodgers. While all that was going on, they lost their beloved wide receiver, Davante Adams, to the Raiders. This loss sting a lot. But now, with Rodgers back, the situation seemed a bit stable. But the tweet by Randall Cobb has shaken everything up again.

The veteran receiver simply wrote, “Lead with Love.” Fans were quick to speculate about a cryptic message in the tweet. The letter “L” being capitalized in the world “Love” could be a nod at the Packers’ backup quarterback, Jordan Love. Wisconsin fans are freaking out after the tweet. They think that Cobb wants Love to start next season over Aaron Rodgers. It could be a welcome change to the attack. The young quarterback was a first-round draft pick by Green Bay in 2020. But over the span of two years, he has only played six games. Maybe it is time to see what Love has to offer when given a starting role.

The Green Bay Packers over the past few seasons

The Green Bay Packers have found success recently. The franchise has won three back-to-back NFC North titles. They have a winning record of 39-10. All three of these seasons were under Aaron Rodgers at the helm.

The Packers franchise quarterback has won two NFL MVP awards during those three seasons. Say what you may about Rodgers, but when it comes to playing, he still has a lot left in the tank. Despite the success, Rodgers still has not signed a long-term deal with the franchise. Maybe the cryptic message in Cobb’s tweet will become true in the near future. The Packers may start with Jordan Love soon.
