Packers LT had his knee reconstructed back in January after he suffered an ACL tear. This injury ended his season. An arthroscopic surgery was performed on Bakhtiari recently to clear up his reconstructed knee. Green Bay’s All-Pro tackle won’t be available immediately but things are looking optimistic. There are hopes that David will be back for the Packers stretch run.

Elgton Jenkins stepped up to play in the position of David Bakhtiari during his absence. But he also suffered a season-ending ACL tear during the Week 11 game against Minnesota Vikings. The Packers are forced to find a replacement for Bakhtiari for the time being. David Bakhtiari has not played a single game this season because of his injuries.

When will David Bakhtiari return?

The head coach of the Green Bay Packers Matt LaFleur said, “It’s day to day, it’s part of the process, he’s coming off a major injury. We’re trying to put him in the best possible position for when he does return, so that’s he good to go.” The Packers are being cautious with their star LT as they just lost their backup LT Jenkins recently.

The offense of the Packers seems to do alright. They need to keep their offense strong until they figure out the defense. You can’t win games with only the offense. The Packers are still on the top of the NFC North table with an 8-3 record. But without the proper defense, it’s going to be hard to defend the lead. Things are looking good for the Packers because David Bakhtiari has been cleared and should join the defense soon.
