Damar Hamlin has finally revealed what caused his horrific cardiac arrest that shook the world earlier this year. The Bills safety said that it was Commotio Cordis, a rare form of cardiac arrest. It is caused by a blow at a precise spot on the chest at the wrong time in a heartbeat. According to Dr. Johnathan Reiner, an interventional cardiologist, this refutes the conspiracy theory that circulated all around during that time. Many believed that Hamlin’s ailment happened due to Myocarditis linked to COVID vaccinations. Reiner suggests that Hamlin’s reveal refutes that theory altogether.

The safety wants to return to football as soon as possible, and it looks like it will come sooner than many would have anticipated. According to Hamlin, the doctors have cleared him to play again and believe that it would actually do his mental health a good service. Fans can get ready to welcome him back to the field.
