Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Will Compton missed the Monday night win against the Cleveland Browns, since it was a miserable time for the athlete. Compton had got the news of his mother suddenly passing away that day. The linebacker was off to home to see his family as he missed his Week 15 matchup.

The 32-year-old took to Twitter to express how much broke he was to learn about the news suddenly. And judging by the tone it seemed as if he was too much in pain as is every son/daughter on losing a mother.

Will Compton expresses his love for mom on her passing

“Hey everyone,” Will tweeted. “I am heartbroken to let you know my mom suddenly passed away last night. I am headed home to be with family. It has been a brutal last 16 hours. Please love on your moms and keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. Our mom was everything to us.”

With this, he simply acknowledged that how short life is and that one should embrace the love of a mother while she is alive. The Raiders star is truly in deep shock to lose his mother. With that, he also asked for people to offer prayers for his mother and his family.

The Raiders acquired the linebacker recently after a series of linebackers got injured. Compton has currently played in just one game this season recording 15 snaps against the Kansas City Chiefs in week 14. And as the Raiders dropped the Browns to knees with a 16-14 win. The Raiders have ascended to a 7-7 record with hopes to make the playoffs in time.

The Raiders will be hosting the Denver Broncos next Sunday and they will be looking forward to taking them down as well. Meanwhile, Will Compton spends time with his family as he tries to cope up with the trauma of losing the most precious person in his life.
