The Las Vegas Raiders seem to have their sights set on brining in a wide receiver to provide quarterback Derek Carr the tools he needs to take the NFL by storm. And that wide receiver is none other than Pittsburgh Steelers’ Juju Smith-Schuster.
Smith Schuster, who was drafted by the franchise back in 2017, is still on his rookie contract. But that is soon set to expire. And if the Steelers don’t move fast, then the wide receiver will hit the market as a free agent rom March 17.
And if that is to be the case, then the Las Vegas Raiders are one of the many franchises that could make a move form Smith-Schuster.

Juju Smith-Schuster likely to be in demand
The quarterback has enjoyed a roller coaster four seasons with the Steelers franchise. Drafted in 2017, the wide out got his first Pro Bowl call up in 2018.
He was also named the team’s MVP that very season. An aspect which many believe played a major role in the departure of Antonio Brown from the franchise to none other than the Raiders.
Now we all know how the Raiders-Brown saga unfolded. And that’s a story for some other day altogether. Coming back to Schuster, the wide receiver has a rather quiet 2019 season registering only 3 touchdowns.
In 2020 though, Schuster started off strong. In fact, last season was a career best for him in terms of touchdowns and catch completion percentage.
But if the franchise is to not renew his contract or put him on a franchise tag, he’ll be a free agent for 2021. But the Schuster shouldn’t be out of a team for long.
